ScotSurplus Thrift Sale

ScotSurplus is UC Riverside's official thrift store that is open to the whole community.

We offer weekly, in-person sales featuring themed collections. We regularly stock desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, keyboards, mice, monitors, computers, TVs, lab supplies, office essentials and more. Departments across UCR turn over inventory constantly, which means fresh items hit the floor every sale cycle.

When UCR departments upgrade equipment, retire furniture or clear out supplies, ScotSurplus steps in before anything hits the landfill. Items get cleaned, cataloged, tested and resold at a fraction of retail — with proceeds supporting campus operations.
